Privacy Policy
This notice explains how FaceSculpty (the “App”) handles information when you use it.
1. Summary
- You do not create an account. The App does not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- Your onboarding answers, plan, routines and workout progress are stored on your device.
- Mirror mode uses the front camera only on your device. Nothing is recorded, uploaded or analyzed, and the App does not scan or identify faces.
- The App uses Amplitude product analytics and RevenueCat for subscriptions. It does not show ads. To measure our own ads on Facebook and Instagram, it includes the Meta SDK and asks for Apple’s tracking permission before the advertising identifier can be used.
2. Information handled by the App
Information you enter: your onboarding answers, such as gender, age range, main goal, focus area, experience, daily time, face shape, bite type, routine style and reminder time. They are stored on your device to build your plan.
Workout information: your plan day, completed exercises, routines you create and your streak are stored on your device.
Camera: mirror mode shows the front camera on screen while you exercise. The image is not recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
Notifications: if you allow them, reminders are scheduled on your device (plan reminders, and one offer reminder if you leave without subscribing). We do not run a push-notification server.
Subscription information: Apple processes your payment. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, the Meta SDK’s anonymous identifier, and the transaction and entitlement information needed to determine whether your subscription is active. We do not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat’s privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy-policy.
Usage analytics: the App sends product-usage events to Amplitude, such as onboarding steps and the answers you choose, paywall views, selected or purchased plans, workouts started and completed, and routines created. Amplitude receives a random app user identifier, a device identifier and basic technical information such as app version, device model, operating system version, language and session information. Amplitude may determine an approximate location (country, region and city) from your IP address; the App does not use GPS or precise location. Events do not include your name, email address, phone number or camera images. Amplitude’s privacy policy: amplitude.com/privacy.
Ad measurement (Meta): the App includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK. It sends Meta Platforms information about app installs, app opens, onboarding completion, paywall views, the plan you select, checkout starts and subscription events (product, price, currency, free-trial start, failed purchase, restore), together with technical device and app information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language and IP address. Only if you allow tracking in Apple’s prompt does it also share the device’s advertising identifier (IDFA). Meta uses this to tell us which of our ads led to installs and purchases and to deliver our ads. Meta does not receive your onboarding answers, workout history or camera images. If you do not allow tracking, the advertising identifier is not shared and Meta measures our ads with Apple’s SKAdNetwork and its Aggregated Event Measurement. Meta’s privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
3. How information is used
Your answers are used on your device to build and show your plan and reminders. Subscription information is used to verify Premium access and restore purchases. Analytics events are used to understand where people leave the onboarding or the paywall and to improve the App. Install and purchase events and, if you allow it, the advertising identifier are shared with Meta to measure and deliver our ads on Facebook and Instagram; Apple treats this as tracking, which is why the App asks for your permission first. We do not sell personal data.
4. Tracking permission
On first launch, after the first screen is visible, the App shows Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt once. The App works the same whether you allow or decline. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
5. Storage and retention
Information saved on your device stays there until you delete the App or clear its data. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat, analytics events held by Amplitude and ad-measurement events held by Meta are kept under their own policies and may remain after you delete the App. To request deletion of analytics data linked to your app user identifier, contact us at the address below.
6. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers described above (Apple, RevenueCat, Amplitude and Meta Platforms), or when required by law. We do not share your onboarding answers or workout history with advertising networks.
7. Educational content
The App provides face-exercise content for general educational purposes. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and results are not guaranteed. If you feel pain, jaw locking, clicking or any other health concern, stop exercising and consult a qualified professional. Links to articles on other websites open in your browser and are covered by those websites’ own policies.
8. Children
The App is intended for people aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us.
9. Security
Local information is protected by your device’s iOS security. Subscription, analytics and ad-measurement data are sent to Apple, RevenueCat, Amplitude and Meta over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this notice when the App changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
