Privacy Policy
This notice explains how Abs CoreX (the “App”) handles information when you use it.
1. Summary
- You do not create an account. The App does not ask for your email address or phone number.
- Your onboarding answers and workout progress are stored on your device.
- The App does not request camera, photo-library, or location permission and does not collect or analyze body photos.
- The App uses Amplitude product analytics to understand how the App is used (for example onboarding steps, paywall views, purchases and completed workouts). These events do not contain your name, height, weight, goals or other onboarding answers. The App does not include advertising or cross-app tracking.
- The App does not currently offer a notification feature.
2. Information handled by the App
Information you enter: Your name, height and weight for the on-device profile/BMI estimate; and your selected goal, activity level, training frequency, and workout preferences. The App does not ask for gender. The “where did you hear about us” question has been removed; the App does not collect that answer. This information stays on your device and is not sent to analytics.
Workout information: The App stores your program day, completed exercises, progress, and streak on your device so the program continues when you reopen it.
Subscription information: Apple processes your payment. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and the transaction and entitlement information needed to determine whether your subscription is active. We do not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat may also process technical device and network information as described in its privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy-policy.
Usage analytics: The App sends product-usage events to Amplitude, such as which onboarding step was viewed, whether the paywall was viewed, which subscription plan was selected or purchased, and when a workout is completed. Amplitude receives a random device identifier generated by Amplitude and basic technical information such as app version, device model, operating system version, language and session information. The App is configured not to send your IP address to Amplitude. Amplitude may still determine an approximate location (country, region and city) from the network connection when it receives events; the App does not use GPS or precise location. The events do not include your name, height, weight, goals, onboarding answers, email address or phone number. Amplitude’s privacy policy: amplitude.com/privacy.
3. How information is used
Your answers are used on the device to show a starting plan, estimate BMI, select exercises, and track progress. Subscription information is used to verify premium access and restore purchases. Analytics events and approximate location are used to understand where people leave the onboarding or paywall and to improve the App. We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-app advertising or tracking.
4. Storage and retention
Your onboarding answers and workout state are saved in the App’s local storage. The Settings reset control clears workout progress. To remove the locally saved onboarding profile as well, delete the App. Subscription transaction records held by Apple and RevenueCat, and analytics events held by Amplitude, are managed under their respective policies and may remain after you delete the App. Contact us at the address below for questions about information handled by us or our service providers.
5. Analytics and diagnostics
The App uses the Amplitude SDK for product analytics as described in section 2. It does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA), does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, and does not include Sentry or another separate crash-reporting service.
6. Sharing
Subscription information is handled by Apple and RevenueCat to process and verify purchases. Product-usage events are processed by Amplitude as our analytics service provider. We may disclose information if required by law. We do not share your onboarding answers or workout history with advertising networks.
7. Children
The App is intended for people aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Security
Local information is protected by your device’s iOS security. Subscription and analytics data are transmitted to Apple, RevenueCat and Amplitude over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
9. Changes
We may update this notice when the App changes. The date at the top identifies the current version of the notice.
